Why are there no videos dissuading rapists? It seems futile, but apparently people need to be told how wrong it is. There are things people can more easily avoid doing to us than we can prevent by constant self-defense.The only worry I have with these kinds of videos is that they contribute to a culture that puts the onus on potential victims. It's important that some PSA make the case that even if a victim drinks a drugged beverage, it is the fault of the person who drugged her. Victim-blaming is psychologically harmful to victims, contributing to their already mounting shame. I've never seen a video that focuses on the other side.
